Understand what is expected of you when using HookStack

1. Introduction
HookStack is a service designed to facilitate webhook processing and automation. To maintain a secure,
reliable, and fair environment for all users, this Acceptable Use Policy ("Policy") outlines the
permitted and prohibited uses of HookStack. By using HookStack, you agree to comply with this Policy.
2. Prohibited Activities
You may not use HookStack for any activity that:
2.1 Illegal or Harmful Use
- Violates any applicable laws, regulations, or legal rights of others
- Supports or facilitates fraudulent, deceptive, or misleading activities
- Promotes or distributes malware, viruses, ransomware, or any malicious software
- Facilitates unauthorized access to networks, systems, or data
2.2 Abuse, Harassment, and Spam
- Engages in harassment, threats, or abuse of any person or entity
- Sends excessive or unsolicited messages (spam), including automated bulk messaging
- Creates or distributes content that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise offensive
2.3 Security Violations
- Attempts to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of HookStack's infrastructure
- Circumvents authentication or security measures of HookStack or any third-party services
- Engages in denial-of-service (DoS) or distributed denial-of-service (DDoS) attacks
2.4 Misuse of Webhooks
- Uses HookStack to send or process unauthorized or deceptive webhook requests
- Overloads HookStack's infrastructure with excessive webhook traffic beyond reasonable use
- Impersonates other services, individuals, or organizations through webhooks
2.5 Unlawful Data Collection
- Scrapes, harvests, or collects data without appropriate consent
- Transmits or stores sensitive personal information without proper security measures
- Violates any applicable data protection or privacy laws
3. Enforcement & Consequences
HookStack reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action if a violation of this Policy is detected, including:
- Suspending or terminating accounts involved in violations
- Blocking or limiting webhook traffic associated with prohibited activities
- Reporting violations to legal authorities when required
4. Reporting Violations
If you become aware of any violations of this Policy, please report them to HookStack support.
5. Updates to This Policy
HookStack may update this Policy from time to time. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of any modifications.
By using HookStack, you acknowledge and agree to comply with this Acceptable Use Policy.
Failure to do so may result in restrictions or termination of access to HookStack's services.
